ANTI-WAR ACTIVISTS WILL INCREASE THE MILITARY DEATH RATE
IN IRAQ

EVANS, GA (2/22) -
Having been a Vietnam Helicopter Crew Chief and Purple
Heart recipient while serving with an Army Air Calvary
Division in 1968, I am sickened by the recent activities
of the Anti-War movement.
Many of the
members of the Anti-War Organizations such as Actors
Against War, Win Without War, Move On, etc., were probably
some of the same (draft dodging) people that spit on us at
the Seattle Airport when we returned from Vietnam. I,
along with most Vietnam Veterans, will never forget the
faces of those people that treated us as if we were the
“scum of the earth” upon our return to the U.S. Had
Americans supported the war effort then instead of the
Anti-War Drug Culture Society, the war would have been won
and many lives of American soldiers would have been
spared. This is true now with our troops in the Middle
East. Everyone should support our country while our troops
are there. This will send a message that we are committed
to revenging the lives of over 3000 civilians lost during
the 911 attacks. Furthermore, this will eliminate any
further distractions on the wonderful men and women
deployed there and will save their lives in the process.
Martin Sheen, Janeane Garafalo, Shann Penn, Susan Serandon,
Jessica Lange, David Duchovny, Matt Damon, George Clooney,
Phil Donahue and all of the others will be held personally
responsible (by the returning veterans) for the lives lost
during this war should their anti-war efforts assist in
prolonging our military presence in that Region. Veterans
will respond by boycotting all movie theaters and concert
halls where the active anti-war activist’s movies and
concerts are playing and will destroy their future
(income) with producers and promoters. We did it with
“Hanoi Jane” and we will do the same to these people. On
the other hand, maybe all of these self-proclaimed
“Hollywood Stars and Rock Stars” could go to Baghdad in
Mid-March and personally visit with Saddam Hussein. This
way, the air strikes could take them all out at the same
time and save us all a lot of time and headaches. (If not,
that same group will probably show up in Augusta in April
to protest the membership at the Augusta National Golf
Club)
By
the way, why haven’t they recruited “Hanoi Jane”? I
haven’t seen any comments from her. Maybe she could add
“credibility” to “Baghdad Sheen”, “Baghdad Garafalo” and
“Baghdad Donahue”.
It simply
amazes me how they can so quickly forget the 3000
(civilian) lives lost in the 911 attacks, which exceeded
the 2403 (military) lives lost at Pearl Harbor. America
must punish those responsible. We can only negotiate with
brutal Dictators through strength, not weakness or
anti-war movements. Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein
have worked together to bring this crisis to the level it
is at now.
Oh, how
silly of me though! I forgot just how "weak" or should I
say "weak minded" these anti-war activists really are.
These Democrat Liberals should look at their own party for
the blame. Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden had 8 years
of the Clinton Administration to rebuild and work out a
terrorist strategy to bring down the “Evil Empire”. That
is where their real problem begins but they are to blind,
ignorant or just plain afraid to “accept the real truth”.
Anyway
you look at it---our troops are not the ones to blame
for the Middle East crisis. They are there defending
the “sorry asses” of the same people that are not
supporting them now. Anti-war activists forget (or are
ignorant of the facts) that they have a Constitutional
right to protest in a free society because of the wars we
have fought in the past. Compare this to Saddam Hussein
who shot his own son-in-laws for their lack of support for
him after the Gulf War. Lack of support from all
Americans at this critical time will cause more American
soldiers to be killed, not fewer, just as it did in
Vietnam.
Laconically
speaking, with complete and undeniable support from all
Americans, this war will be swift and decisive. Without
total support, the war could be drawn out and cause more
military deaths in the process.
Protect our
fine military men and women by supporting them--not Saddam
Hussein and Osama Bin Laden. Maybe while we are there, we
could go to France and wipe out their nuclear production
facilities. After all, they are the ones that sold Iraq
the materials and equipment to build their weapons
facilities anyway.
History has proven that George Patton was right when he
said in 1945 that America should clean up the entire
Region (including Russia) while we were there. The world
would have been a better place today had we listened to
him then. That’s why we should follow his wisdom in Iraq
and Afghanistan.
